Irene Estep

American author of children's books. She wrote mainly fiction, in particular the 'pioneer' series about the adventures of various characters set in pioneer times. The books are not sequential and are each about different characters. Two of these books feature horses.

The author is not to be confused with another Irene Estep who writes romantic fiction!
